yo cannot find peace by avoiding life… I have repeated this sentence once and again since I heard it first in The Hours. I have used it and I have repeated it endless times to myself. At the end, we always want to do it, we always want to run away and abandone, because we believe we don’t have the strength to carry on.
Think of yourself as dead. You have lived your life. Now, take what’s left and live it properly. What doesn’t transmit light creates its own darkness.
Marcus Aurelius, Meditations.
To look life in the face, always, to look life in the face and to know it for what it is. At last to know it, to love it for what it is, and then, to put it away. Always the years between us, always the years. Always, the love. Always, the hours.
